David Adipo

David is a Public Health professional, passionate about designing and operationalizing innovative Public Health, humanitarian, development, and research solutions. Additionally, he is a Harvard Humanitarian leadership program (NNHPL) fellow and Building Better Response (BBR). David also brings along training and experience in Global Health, health systems strengthening programs (Human resources for health, Health financing, communication for managers).

He has been instrumental in the implementation of different fundings; Private sector USAID-HCM (Social marketing/quality assurance), Global Fund- PPM project, USAID-Afya Uzazi (Technical assistance on RMNCAH+N), Healthy Heart Africa NCD (hypertension) Program, Thrive Thru’ Five, USAID NPI Expand, DESSIP and DIB-Private sector project.

David has worked both in public, private, and nonprofit sectors holding different positions from program officer, technical officer, program manager and Private sector lead on regular and consultancy terms.

His key areas of expertise include Projects/programs design & management, social marketing, Public Private Initiatives (PPI), stakeholder management, health system strengthening (Human resources for health/health financing/supply chain management), resource mobilization, Quality assurance and Quality improvement, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Global Health, and Hospital management.

Key Responsibility

David is key in the management of Hakijamii Health programs portfolio ensuring rights-based approach is incorporated in championing the Health, Water and sanitation rights of the communities we work with.
