Lucy is the Finance, Admin and Human Resources Manager at Hakijamii. She is a passionate human rights activist with over 15 years working in Human Rights spheres. She is an ardent advocate for women rights in development and governance. Known for her forward thinking mindset, she has successfully steered Hakijamii through dynamic landscapes, always staying ahead of the human rights trends and disruptions.

Her career dedication has focused on effective management of grants. Lucy is a seasoned and result oriented grants manager. She is well known for her ability to multitask, strategic thinker, attention to details and commitment to drive positive change for the underserved. She has played a pivotal role in securing and optimizing funds for various organization initiatives.

Key Responsibility

She has previously worked in corporate and non-governmental organizations. She has served in a number of boards holding management positions including, Children Sickle Cell Foundation (CSCF) and Kisacco Sacco. Currently, she oversees grants management and overall operations at Hakijamii.

She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Nairobi, Diploma in Project Management and a Certified Public Accountant (K) registered with ICPAK accounting professional body. She sits on the strategic management committee at Hakijamii and plays a key role towards realization of the organization's mission. She has extensive experience in corporate governance, project implementation, grants management, resource mobilization and operations. Over and above her career life, Lucy cherishes serving the communities and serves as a board member and advisory expert.
