Peter Karachu
Mr. Peter Karachu serves as the finance officer at Economic and Social Rights Centre (ESRC-Hakijamii) He’s an enthusiastic finance professional with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive financial accounting, management and reporting in the NGO sector.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) Degree from Mt. Kenya University. He’s a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a registered member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK).

His duties include overall financial accounting, payroll processing, taxation, regulatory compliance, budgeting, operations & administrative support.
His contribution to the team is to align financial initiatives with programme activities to ensure completion of activities within set budget controls and programmatic timelines.
