Hakijamii recognizes the importance of sound financial and procurement systems in ensuring effective delivery of its mandate and maintaining the confidence of donors, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders. To this end, the organization seeks to review its Finance and Procurement Manual to strengthen governance, enhance internal controls, align with international accounting standards, and improve transparency and efficiency in the management of resources.

Purpose and Objective of the Assignment

The purpose of this consultancy is to review and update Hakijamii’s Finance and Procurement Manual to ensure its relevance, alignment with applicable International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS), best practices in nonprofit financial management, and compliance with donor requirements, national regulations, and the specific needs of NGOs operating in Kenya.
